Take advantage of our co-working spaces in Bern

As an employee of Defence Group (Gruppe V) or as a member of the army on duty, we offer you the opportunity to use the Effinger Workspace near the Bern train station for your work.

In addition to access to the workstations on the 3rd floor, you will also have access to other facilities such as terraces, showers, telephone booths and coffee kitchens.

How to use the premises

Registration

Registering to use one of our fixed or flexible workspaces at Effinger coworking is very easy. All we need from you is to fill out this form.

Workstations

On the 3rd floor there are a total of eight workstations in two rooms. On Thursdays, however, one room is rented to another company, reducing the number of permanent workstations to four. If the 3rd floor becomes too cramped, the flexdesks on the lower floors can also be used.

Past the café counter and up the stairs
Take the lift to the 3rd floor
Enter the workspace and follow the signs “Swiss Innovation Forces”

Opening hours

The main entrance is open at the following times:

MON: 07-20
TUE-FRI: 07-22
SAT: closed
SUN: 09-17

If you have access outside these opening hours, please contact us in advance via events@innoforces.ch.

Costs

The use of the workstations is free of charge for employees of the Defence Group and for AdA on duty. Also included is the use of the coffee kitchens incl. coffee.

Use of WiFi

Fast WiFi is available in the Effinger. You will find the access data in every room. If you can’t find them, the coworking hosts will be happy to help you.

Questions on site

The coworking hosts are happy to support you. You can recognise them by their yellow ribbon that they wear around their necks. They are usually on the ground floor until noon, then on the second floor.

Workshop and meeting rooms

On the 3rd floor there is a meeting room, which can be used by everyone without reservation and for up to two hours at a time.

Alternatively, you can book one of the workshop and meeting rooms. These are subject to a fee. However, with our discount code you will benefit from a 20% discount. Simply enter ‘InnoForces’ in the corresponding field in the last step of the booking.

And the best part: If the use of your innovation work serves Group V, then we will gladly cover the costs. In this case, please inform us before your booking via events@innoforces.ch

The separate room "Pläfe" above the café is suitable as a meeting and workshop room for up to 8 people.

What should I do if all the workstations on the 3rd floor are occupied?

In that case, you are welcome to sit at one of the free workstations on the other floors.

Can I use the workstations even if I am not working on an innovation project?

Yes, but of course we make this offer available in order to promote cooperation on innovation projects. As always, common sense is what counts.

Who else uses the Effinger?

The Effinger is a meeting place for a wide variety of people from a wide variety of industries. You will be able to meet these coworkers who do not belong to Group V at the latest in the coffee kitchens. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with them. This results in a new network.
